Archie Hinde
Archie’s passion for classic yachts runs deep. Growing up in North Yorkshire, he spent his summers sailing on the Isle of Wight. His introduction to ocean racing came in 2014 when he signed up for a transatlantic race, and since then, the sea has never been far from him. Driven by his love for the craft, Archie began restoring classic yachts and is currently restoring a Clyde Class 17/19ft yacht built in 1894, all while managing charters for Hinde & Kitch.
Charlie Kitching
Charlie’s love for yachting began on family holidays to the Mediterranean. Growing up in London, his passion for the sea only deepened, and it was on sailing courses in the Isle of Wight that he met Archie, forming both a lasting friendship and a shared love for sailing. With a keen interest in brokerage, Charlie honed his skills and expanded his yachting knowledge at some of the industry’s leading brokerage houses before co-founding Hinde & Kitch.
