The Advanced Provisioning Allowance is typically 25-30% of the charter fee for crewed yachts. It is paid to the captain, who draws from it to pay for mooring, fuel, food and expenses encountered by the guests whilst onboard. Whatever is left is returned or typically can be left as the tip.
