Kythnos is a beautiful mountainous island that sits on the west part of the Cyclades island group. Boasting a wild natural landscape, an elegant architecture and a selection of stunning beaches, Kythnos island is arguably one of the most beautiful Greek islands. Thanks to its proximity to Athens, Kythnos is a popular destination for quick getaways from the Greek capital. Kythnos Greece is also a perfect base for island hopping to the nearby islands of Kea, Serifos, and Sifnos.
- Day 2
Kythnos to Mykonos, 54Nm
This destination is well known for having an incredible night scene so pace yourself throughout the day to prepare for the evening’s festivities. On arrival at the island, you can take some time to relax on the popular sandy beaches or jump straight in to exploring the terrain by moving up into the hills to see the 16th-century windmills. Most of the windmills were built by the Venetians but some construction work was not completed until the early 20th century.
- Day 3
Mykonos to Paros, 22Nm
Combining modern with traditional elements in the most unique way, Paros is a mix of traditional Cycladic architecture, vivid nightlife, magical Paros beaches, enchanting rural villages, and historical monuments. Whether you’re after a relaxing holiday or you are more of a thrill-seeker, Paros island Greece will give you exactly what you want! Paros Greece is one of the most popular Greek islands! Boasting a beautiful natural landscape and 120 km of coastline, it has endless blonde-sand beaches, verdant mountains and cliff-top villages galore.
- Day 4
Paros to Ios, 28Nm
Not far from Chora, Kambos is ideal for staying, as it marries peace and quiet with cosmic life and modern facilities. In Skarkos’ hill the visitor can see the remains of a protocyclic settlement. The important findings in this archaeological site show the existence of a developed society. Among others were found well saved walls and many vessels.
- Day 5
Ios to Sifnos, 32Nm
What Sifnos is mostly famous for is its gastronomy! Home to the famous Greek chef Nikolaos Tselementes, Sifnos has undoubtedly amazing food! You can taste the yummy local recipes, such as capper salad, chickpea soup, and mastelo at its excellent restaurants and taverns.
- Day 6
Sifnos to Serifos, 15Nm
Both Chora, the capital town, and the island’s villages have been built according to the traditional Cycladic architecture, thus expect to see whitewashed houses, paved streets and traditional windmills galore! Chora, in particular, is considered one of the most picturesque capitals in the Cyclades! Perched on the slopes of a hill, the beautiful town has a breath taking view of the Aegean sea, which makes it a wonderful spot for sunset gazing!
- Day 7
Serifos to Athens, 64Nm
Once the heart of one of the most powerful civilisations, Athens is dominated by colossal architectural feats of the ancient past, from the Acropolis to the Temple of Olympian Zeus. However, the neighbourhoods and backstreets of Athens reveal a delightfully modern and laidback energy, with lively urban restaurants and edgy galleries, set against relics of a bygone era.
