Sicily 7 day sailing Itinerary

COUNTRY: Italy

CHARTER LENGTH: 6 Days, 100Nm

SAILING TIME: Short

Filicudi island pebble beach on a hot summer day, Italy.
  • Day 1

    Lipari to Salina, 10Nm

It is not just the beaches that attract tourists throughout the year, but also a vast cultural heritage, rich history, and lush natural vistas and sights. It is the greenest of all the islands in the archipelago. The food and wine here on the island is accentuated by the foundations like freshly caught fish and the famous capers of Salina.

  • Day 2

    Salina to Panarea, 10Nm

Exclusive and fashionable, Panarea is the smallest of the Aeolian islands and is host to beautiful waters and tranquil vistas. You will spend the day anchored here where you and your guests can spend hours on end playing in the water. In the afternoon dine at the hillside village of Raya, where the view and cuisine will take your breath away. The island’s unique atmosphere and enchanting isolation has made it the ideal destination with some of the world’s jet-setters. You may have the chance to bump into while exploring the inland plazas and cafes, or if you stay to enjoy the intimate nightlife scene.

  • Day 3

    Panarea to Stromboli, 11Nm

Stromboli, a privately owned island that provides excellent snorkelling and diving spots. Stromboli’s ‘Black Giant’’ is a volcano that is currently active and has erupted on many occasions; the last major eruption was on August 29th 2019. Other than breath taking landscapes and natural vistas, Stromboli itself has little to offer. This is when numerous guided walks can be arranged to the summit.

  • Day 4

    Stromboli to Fillicudi, 31Nm

Filicudi is a secret hideaway known to few. It is not an island for everyone, but those who love it love it passionately. Its unspoiled nature, the mule tracks scented of capers, the dolphins and sea turtles, the warm and clear waters, the cliffs and the sunsets over the sea. If you are looking for trendy nightclubs, this is not your island. But if you are looking for an authentic Italian experience, welcome home.

  • Day 5

    Fillicudi to Vulcano, 19Nm

With its visibly smoking crater and vile sulphurous fumes, Vulcano makes an indelible first impression. The island’s volcanic nature has long been impressing visitors: the ancient Romans believed it to be the chimney of the fire god Vulcan’s workshop, and today it remains famous for its therapeutic mud baths and hot springs. The main drawcard, however, remains the Fossa di Vulcano (Gran Cratere), the steaming volcano that towers over the island’s north-eastern shores.

  • Day 6

    ulcano to Milazzo, 19Nm

For many, the prime reason for setting foot in this town is to head for the hydrofoil docks and set sail for the Aeolian Islands. But, away from its refineries and industrial port development, Milazzo boasts an impressive hilltop castle and a pretty Borgo Antico (Old Town), and the isthmus that juts out to the north is an area of great natural beauty dotted with rocky coves, well worth a visit for those with time to spare.
