Navigation can be challenging with strong currents, uncharted reefs, and busy shipping lanes, so updated charts and local knowledge are essential. Provisioning is best in larger hubs like Bali and Jakarta, while remote areas have limited supplies. A cruising permit (CAIT) and clearance at designated ports are required. Respect for local customs, marine conservation areas, and tides will ensure a smooth and unforgettable sailing adventure.
